The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec has indicated that the woman killed in Vitomirica had submitted a parapet on October 22nd, through which she had sought the emergency action company of responsible institutions officials, claiming they had failed to fulfill their official duties during handling her case.
According to the prosecution, the parachute was addressed to the prosecutor’s chief prosecutor and included claims of possible institutional concessions, including the execution of a court ruling.
After accepting and reviewing the parachute, the chief prosecutor had ordered her registration for treatment by the competent prosecutor in order to assess claims on the aspect of criminal responsibility for criminal work ʹKeq misuse of official office or authority.
Also, the parachute was forwarded to relevant institutions, including the Regional Police Directorate in Pec, the Foundation Court in Pec, the Directorate for Social Management and the Centre for Social Work, with the request to review claims and verify possible concessions or official actions.
As for the court ruling on equal home exploitation, the prosecution has announced that it was executed by the caretaker prosecutor, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police.
The prosecution has stressed that the circumstances of the case, including claims submitted by victims and the actions of the relevant institutions, will be dealt with seriously and professionally, in line with legal procedures.
The woman was killed Sunday night in Vitomirica, Pec. Her brother – in – law is suspected of murder, which, according to police information, is on the run. The victim was allegedly shot dead with an axe.
The case was preceded by a report to the police on domestic violence, after which the victim’s husband had been detained for 48 hours. According to the police, the woman had sought to return home by her own will, and she was later found without any signs of life.
At the end of the announcement, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec has expressed condolences to the victim’s family.
