The international children’s song competition has been held since 2003 by the European Union of Broadcasting and gathers young artists from different European countries.
Sixteen countries are participating in this year’s edition.
Albania is represented by 12-year-old Eslin Kurti, of the city of Durres. In addition to piano studies, she conducts her musical education through music theory, vocal training and stage performance.
Eslin won the Children’s Song Festival in Shkodra, ensuring the right to represent Albania on the international stage of Junior Eurovision.
The grand final begins tonight, at 9:00, and is broadcast live on Kosovo Radio Television.
