The Constitutional Court in Pristina has appointed a month of detention for nine computer fraud suspects who allegedly acted through call centres (Call Center), misleading foreign citizens with false financial investments.
As the Signal newspaper reported earlier, among the suspects are Tony Salihu, about 27-year-old Durim Morina, about 36-year-old, Diamonds Hasani, about 25-year-old Rea Hashani, about 23-year-old Progress Reka, about 36-year-old Dorent Hajredini, about 27 years old, Faik Zuka, about 19-year-old Ariana Placi, about 32-year-old and Bidaim Amyni, about 23.
Under the court’s ruling, the detention measure is scheduled following the request of the Basic Prosecutor in Ferizaj and the holding of the hearing.
The court has estimated there is the danger of the suspects escaping, especially considering that three of them are German citizens and that frequent trips abroad are being recorded.
Similarly, according to the court, there is the danger that suspects will influence the course of criminal procedure, hide, change or eliminate material evidence, and influence the injured, witnesses or potential collaborators.
According to allegations presented in the decision, during 2026 to 23 October, at various locations in Pristina, suspects have acted organised, with separate roles, through call centres adapted to that end.
They allegedly, posing as representatives of financial investment companies, have launched foreign nationals and urged them to commit actions that damaged their property with the aim of illegal financial gain.
Against that decision, the parties are eligible for complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeals.
