President Gordana Siljanovska-Davidkova delivered a speech today at the National Dialog Before the ZZ31, organised by the UNDP in co-operation with the Ministry of Environment and Fisik Planning and the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mine Resources.
For Siljanovska-Davidkova, climate change is not only a matter of protecting nature, but a systemic crisis affecting all segments of society and requires urgency, responsibility and joint action.

She stressed the importance of quick adoption of the Law on Climate Action, which, as she pointed out, is one of the most important documents on the reform agenda related to the EU, and for which green light has been taken from the European Commission in terms of compliance with European legislation.

Before COP31, in Antalya, where the president will lead the state delegation of RMV, she said we should present ourselves with clear national priorities, prepared projects and specific funding needs.

According to her, the Conference is an opportunity not only to articulate our priorities but also to show that we are willing to turn climate commitments into concrete investments and measurable results. /Telegraphy/
