Haxhiu has said joining Albanian parties on a joint list represents an important step for the political representation of Albanians in Serbia’s institutions.

Through a message on social networks, she has stressed that Albanian parties have already done their part by joining, while it is up to citizens to support this union through vote.

It has estimated that political representation, protection of Albanian rights and raising voice against injustice remain issues of particular importance to the Presevo Valley.

Haxhiu has also called on Albanians living and working in Kosovo, but who have the right to vote in Serbia, travel towards the Valley and participate in elections.

According to her, voter turnout is important to strengthen the representation of Albanians in Serbia’s Parliament.

Albanian parties in the Presevo Valley will compete in this election with a joint list, named the Albanian Coalition.

In the 2020 elections, Albanian parties competed together and secured three seats in the Serbia Assembly, which has 250 deputies.
