Jneighboring sides for nearly 20 years, but a dispute over a cable upset their neighborhood reports.

Burhan Makhuni of Mitrovica is complaining that Hamit Kaciku has placed a cable belt through his balcony.

In the early years, he relates that he had had good relations with all neighbors.

Mitrovica recalls the day they returned to post-war Kosovo and found the destroyed house.

For several years, 69-year-old says they worked with his wife in Sweden and all their savings were invested in building the house.

According to Maxhuni, this cable that has already caused trouble among the neighbors, when it built the house wasn’t even there.

When her daughter got married and came to Kosovo to have the wedding, Burhani says that on the balcony without the toʹte, she passed a cable rope to his neighbor.

According to 69-year-old, his neighbor had never discussed this with him, and since he had been an electrician, according to him, Hamiti had made the cable link with him.

This whole thing between neighbors has made them stop talking.

The impending risk is Burhani’s biggest concern every time they come to Kosovo on vacation.

He relates that it is painful for him when his grandchildren do not allow them to appear on the balcony because they fear the danger of the electric cable.

The solution, however, did not even address KED.

According to him, a version of the arrangement was given it, but the cost of expenses must be paid by Burhan himself.

And at such expense, 69-year-olds are disagreeing.

He claims he wants this to be solved by the rules and to end this problem.

The expectation of a solution is approaching more serious every day, as they are at times facing dangers that are coming from that cable.

The indictment against them, is rejecting 49-year-old Fatmir Kaciku.

The one for KIX Kosovo said that cable has been in that position since the post-war, and has been deployed by KDS-I, not by his father.

According to Fatmir, even if they wanted to do this, Burhan would never allow it.

The 49-year-old confessed that the cable is going through the balcony now that the neighbor built the new house three stories, but everything was in order for years when his house was a story.

Aware that the danger exists, Fatmir says they are willing to accept any ECDS decision, and can even contribute monetaryly if the amount is not too high.

Kiks Kosova has requested an answer from KED concerning this problem.

From this company, through a written answer, they have said they have sent Burhan the technical solution, but the realisation of the works by him has not been done.

The KEDS have said such interventions are out of the question, and as an institution, they cannot get out.
