Snowfalls have included Rugova Bjeshks, creating a winter landscape in this mountainous area of Kosovo.

Although still in October, the snow has whitened parts of the mountains, warning of the approaching winter season.

Rugova, known for its natural beauty and as one of Kosovo’s mountain tourist destinations, gets a special view during snowfall.

Snowfalls in mountainous areas during this period of the year are linked to the decline in temperatures, especially in the largest subterranean heights.

During Tuesday, snowfall has also been recorded in Prevala and in some other mountainous areas of Kosovo, where temperature reduction has brought typical winter conditions, although the country is still in the autumn season.
