Those who aim to lose weight quickly resort to methods that, instead of long – term results, can lead to a return to lost pounds.
Medical doctor and nutritionist Marcia Jose Crispin, of the Clínica Menorca Clinic in Madrid, has identified three common errors that could hinder the achievement and preservation of a healthy load.

The first mistake is following extreme diets that promise rapid weakening. According to Crispin, these diets can cause loss of muscle mass and liquids and slow down metabolism.
When people return to normal feeding, lost pounds can return – even in larger amounts. For this reason, it advises the creation of healthy long – term habits instead of strict food restrictions.
The second mistake is to focus solely on food, neglecting physical activity.
Crispin recommends combining cardio exercise with force training, which helps to maintain muscle mass, improve physical conditioning, and maintain the weight achieved.
Meanwhile, the third error is the complete elimination of fats from daily feeding.
Nutritionist points out that weight gain is mainly related to overindulgence of calories, whether it comes from fats, proteins, carbohydrates, or alcohol.
It recommends the involvement of healthy fats in daily nutrition, such as salmon, olive oil, and avocado. At the same time, it recommends limiting trans-fat and excessive fats.
According to her, the key to a lasting weakening is, not the hunger or elimination of whole food groups, but a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and the creation of long – preserved habits.
