DThe Alliance’s exclusive, Besnik Tahiri, has called for resignations and dismissals following the assassination of Arlinda Zekiaj, naming it an ethical act and institutional responsibility for an event that has shocked Kosovo citizens.

From Parliament Speaker Tahiri has said that the assassination of Arlinda is not an isolated case, but part of a disturbing phenomenon requiring reflection and accountability by institutions, Klankosova broadcasts.tv.

Without a doubt, the murder of Arlinda is a tragedy that has shocked us all, but it is not an isolated case. Unfortunately, it is becoming a phenomenon which in Kosovo owes us to reflect and, above all, to seek responsibility, Tahiri has declared.

He has stressed that the expression of condolences and public condemnation of the case are not enough, requiring concrete action by responsible institutions.

Today, there should be resignations, dismissals, such as ethical action against an event that caused pain to all Kosovo citizens, Tahiri has said.

The Alliance’s MP has stressed that violence against women should not be treated as an isolated case or only from the childicide’s perspective, but also in relation to institutional responsibility. /Klankosova. tv
