Pristina, October 28th, 2026 BiH Judiciary Council ( Mr. Rrustem Thaqi, in regard to the case of Arlinda Zekaj-Sylaj, dated 26.10.2026 has addressed urgent written request for the Judiciary Inspectation Unit at the Kosovo Judicial Council, that, under the entity’s competencies and responsibilities, urgently undertake all necessary actions in connection with the case. C.nr. 1300/2026, to review the documentation and actions undertaken so far by the tribunal and concerning the findings, finally prepare a report on all actions taken.
The inspection has been conducted at the Base Court Pay by 26/10/2026, team work has been finalised by the date: 28.10.2026, building a physical file with all the inspection materials and other paperwork. The final report was submitted to the Council by date: 28.10.2026.
After reviewing all the subject paperwork and the matter, it turns out:
The court on the date 07.09.2026 has accepted the request for the Pronunciation of the Emergency Protection Order, and it has been recorded this same day in the manual and the SMIL electroton, in accordance with norms, respectively, rule No.17/2024 and Annex 2.
With the establishment of the date 07.09.26, the Constitutional Court in Pec has appointed the Order for Emergency Protection for the protected party, Mrs. Arlinda Zekiaj-Sylaj.
Against this protected act and the representative for the victims’ protection have raised objections, only in terms of point III, of the device that had to do with child trust and allimentation.
Court, ruling according to opposition to protected party and representatives for the protection of victims with decree C.nr.1300/2026 of the 1610,2026, has decided to approve the request of the defense party exactly as in the device of this decision.
No complaint has been filed by the parties in this case.
Based on the subject’s paperwork, it turns out, the defense side Arlinda Zekiaj-Sylay, has been assigned the Order for Protection at all times. Both of these decisions have been forwarded to the Kosovo Police for their execution, as it has been defined in the device of the cited decisions.
It should be noted that by the date 2610,2026 at 8:56, the Court has accepted the Constitutional Prosecution Act in Pec, number one. PP/ 2 / 1 1340/2026, vs Jeton Sylaj (husband of Arlinda Zekiaj-Sylaj). The indictment in court has been admitted following the murder of the late Arlinda Zekiaj-Sylaj. The incident was registered immediately in the physical register and the number electronics. P.nr. 832/2026 and according to SMIL 2026:208789.
The subject’s paperwork shows that in this case only parties were, protected side Arlinda Zekaj- Sylaj and the responsible party Jeton Sylejman Sylaj (in the family report, husband), and no subject records have now been included in the suspect in committing the crime of murder, Albert Sylaj.
On September 17, 2026, Mrs. Arlinda Sylaj Zekaj has been asked at the request to the Chairman of the Foundation Court in Pec, where he has voiced claims that the judge of the case has decided against legal terms and legal terms. The Chairman of the Court in Pec, the same day, dated September 17, 2026, has addressed the judge of the case with a request to be informed about the case as well as the actions taken. The same day, the judge of the case has responded to the mayor’s request.
As of October 20, 2026, the chairman of the Court with the letter GJA.nr…190726 has responded to Mrs. Arlinda Syla Zekaj explaining all the actions taken by the Court in connection with the case.
As for news published in several media, if Kosovo Judiciary Council Chief Chairman has accepted request from Mrs. Arlinda Silla Zekaj, informs the media and citizens that this information is not true.
Kosovo’s Judiciary Council chairman has received written answers from the responsible persons at the Judiciary Council Secretariat that by October 28th 2026, no requests have been accepted from the late Arlinda Zekaj-Sylaj. This has been ascertained by checking evidence from the physical registry of acceptance of all documents accepted in the Council’s accession office, the Secretariat and the official mail of the KDR.
Kosovo’s Judiciary Council assures citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that it is determined to take all necessary legal actions in order to implement the constitution and applicable laws, without excluding all eventual measures to all those found their actions or actions are in conflict with legislation in power.
