No doubt the best football player of all time, Lionel Messi, will bid farewell to the national fan of Argentina tonight (Saturday).

The match against Benin, which will be played at 8:00 at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, will be the last for the Argentine genius.

Before the match, fans in the eastern city of Mess, Rosario, discovered a great fan of the national team with words FALEMANDER #1050 prominently displayed to honor their captain.

The dedication in Rosario carried an emotional message from his fellow citizens, who expressed deep gratitude for the way he transformed the national team.

Thank you, Captain. You gave us everything. You made us believe again, to dream of the impossible, and to give us unforgettable moments that will remain with us for the rest of our lives.

The letter pointed out the painful realization that a new era is dawning for Argentinan football without their legendary leader.

Nothing will be the same. We’re not ready to let you go, but we’ll follow you wherever you go, he wrote in Rosario’s letter.

Messi’s farewell with the national team marks the end of the golden age that brought Argentina great successes. He led Gauchot towards three great trophies, winning two consecutive titles of Copa America in the years 2021 and 2024, along with the peak of his career, a historic victory at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Today’s match against Benin will be 208th in its history, and so far it has scored 125 goals and provided 68 assets.

It is noteworthy that in Argentina they have already announced that the entire country will stop at the 10th minute of the match. /Telegraphy/
