Nine cases of domestic violence were reported to the Kosovo Police on October 28th, where eight women and girls are victims of physical attacks, psychic violence or threats.

According to the 24-hour police report, cases were reported in Fushe Kosovo, Pristina, Peja, Kamenica, Novoberda, Decani and Malisheva.

In Fushe Kosovo, a man has been arrested under suspicion of physically assaulting his wife. She has accepted medical treatment, while the suspect has been sent to the prosecutor’s decision.

Three cases have been reported in Pristina. In one of them, a woman reported having faced psychic violence from the person she had cohabited with. Suspect has been interviewed and released in regular procedure.

On another occasion, a man is suspected of attacking his daughter. The victim has accepted medical treatment, while the suspect has not been met by police.

Also, a man has been arrested in Pristina, who allegedly, after a disagreement, has been threatening a woman with whom he was in a relationship with video recording. At the prosecutor’s decision, he’s been taken to custody.

In Pec a woman has reported physically assaulted by her brother after a family disagreement. The sides have been interviewed, while the suspect has been released in regular procedure with the prosecutor’s decision.

Two other cases were reported in Kamenica and Novoberda. In Caminica a man is suspected of physically assaulting his mate, who has accepted medical treatment. Suspect has been sent to the holding.

Meanwhile, in Novoberda a man has been arrested under suspicion of physically assaulting his minor daughter, who, according to the police, has mental disorders. It has accepted medical treatment, while the suspect has been sent to the hold for 48 hours.

It was reported in Decan that continued psychic violence against a woman by her husband. The suspect has been arrested, and during the interview he has claimed to own an automatic weapon. The police have gone to his house, where he has seized an automatic weapon with an empty mag. After the interview, he was released in regular procedure with the prosecutor’s decision.

While in Malisevo, a woman has been arrested under suspicion that she had fucked her son after a disagreement over a property dispute. She’s been sent to the holding for 48 hours.
