The awareness campaign under the Gulf Cancer Month has launched in Kamenica, with the aim of informing citizens of the importance of regular checks and early detection of the disease.

Under the campaign, there is also a solidifying march with the motto Control, for yourself, for life!

Representatives of local institutions, health professionals and citizens, including Kamenica Chairman Kadri Rahimaj, and other municipal officials, have participated in the event.

The municipality has indicated that through this campaign it aims to raise awareness, especially in women, of the importance of prevention checks and regular medical consultations.

The campaign is organised by the Directorate for Health and Social Goodness, in collaboration with the Chairman’s Office and the Chief Centre for Family Medicine. Shaban Geci. /Telegraphy/
