An unusual incident took place Monday evening in the EasiJet company’s flight from Pristina to Basel, causing panic and fear among passengers aboard.
According to information that KosovaNews has provided from several passengers on the plane, the event has started about half an hour after the plane was launched by Pristina International Airport HINAem Jasharı. The flight to Basel was scheduled to depart at 20:05.

Initially, a nearly 40-year-old woman allegedly suffered acute drop in blood pressure and an acute state of anxiety, being near tradeoff.
The crew of the plane immediately sought help from passengers, asking if a doctor was on board.
Fortunately, among the travelers was the Kosovo neurosurgeon, Dr. Valon Baraliu, who works at a hospital in Germany.
After his intervention and first aid, the passenger situation has stabilised.
KosovaNews has contacted Dr. Baraliu, who has confirmed his story and intervention to offer help to the traveler.
Yes, I, along with hundreds of travelers, was on the flight of the eusyJet company at 20:05 on Pristina Basel line. About half an hour after the plane was launched, a nearly 40-year-old traveler experienced a serious state of acute arithmia, accompanied by hyperventation, dizziness, and a marked state of anxiety and panic attacks.
The crew and pilots sought help through the speaker, asking if there were any doctors on board. I, without hesitation, got up and offered professional help to the patient, as my duty and profession require. On board was a young nurse who joined us, along with the aircraft crew, who was on the alert and supported us all the time.
After my intervention, the patient’s condition stabilised, and I suggested that we could continue our journey without the need for emergency landings, Baraliu declared.
However, the situation on the plane did not end there.
About half an hour after the first incident — another traveler, about 42-year-old Swiss nationals of origin from Kosovo — is suspected to have suddenly shown aggressive and violent behaviour, without any apparent cause.
According to passenger testimony, he has forcibly broken the window’s inner window near his seat, causing fear and uncertainty among other travelers.
Even this case has been confirmed by neurosurgeon Valon Baraliu, whose crew had again asked for help to assess the passenger’s condition.
Shortly after a time with the traveler, as I explained, on the back of the plane I heard a noise coincided with breaking the window’s inner glass by a traveler, without any apparent cause. Passengers in that section were overwhelmed by panic.
The person in question, about 42 years old, had broken the inner window near the plane window. The crew asked me again to examine his psychophysics. When I approached him, the person, although physically stable, did not speak a word or respond to my questions.
I cannot confirm whether he was under the influence of any medicine or in a state of disorder or mental strain at the moment of performing the action without undergoing corresponding tests.
The traveler was then kept under the supervision of several passengers until the landing of the plane at Basel Airport, where he was later taken over by the gendarmerie of the airport.
I have to point out that all the time, both in the first and second case, the crew of iasyJet was very professional, human and supportive. Despite the situation, crew members managed to keep him in close control and commitment, Baraliu has declared.
The Witnesses have described the atmosphere on board as extremely tense, saying that many passengers, including families with children, experienced panic moments because of successive events during flight.
Meanwhile, the rapid intervention of Kosovo neurosurgeon Dr. Valon Baraliu has been appreciated by the crew, the captain of the plane, and the passengers, as he offered the first aid to the traveler who experienced severe health during flight./Telegraphy/
