Michel Arteta has declared that Arsenal has not yet reached the highest peak of success as the London team is preparing for confronting Bayer Munichu in the Champions League.

Last season, Arsenal ended the long wait for the Premier League title. After three successive seasons ending in second place, Londoners were declared champions for the first time since 20/03/04.

For a large part of the 2025/26 season, Artetta’s team was in the race to win four trophies, but lost the League Cup final to Manchester City and was surprisingly eliminated from Southampton in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

The Arsenal also arrived at the Champions League final, demanding the first trophy in the history of this competition, but was defeated by Paris Saint-Germani with a score of 4-3 after penalty, following the 1-1 draw at regular time.

The London team is aiming again at trophy this season and has launched a great adventure in the Champions League, winning both games first.

Arteta is excited to continue her progress and to see how far his team can reach.

I believe we’ve reached a mountain of Premier League gain, but not at the highest peak, or in what I imagine, Arteta has declared the Arteta on HBO Max’s show.

We’ve reached a target that was part of a chapter, but now we have to get to the next chapter.

We talk about the possibility of winning again and, above all, how we will approach this challenge from the mentality. This road is extremely important and I’m very excited about it.

Persistence is probably the hardest thing to achieve. We have to guard all factors that have helped us achieve the objective, but keep on inspiring and leading players to another level, maintaining the same ambition, has finished the Spanish coach.

The Arsenal has won the last 14 consecutive matches in the Champions League phase. Since his return to the race in 2023, only Paris Saint-Germainin and Real Madrid, with 28 victories, have recorded more overall victories than the Londoners, who have 27, as many as Bayerni./Telegraphy/
