Analyst Imer Mushkolaj has estimated that developments about the return of the Specialised Chambers Law could be linked to an internal political battle at the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

On Dabbat Plus on TV Dukaagjini, Mushkolaj has raised doubts that the law may have been used as an electoral card on the eve of extraordinary elections.

This is a battle issue for me inside PDK. Not like anything else. In fact you, and after bringing the law back to the Parliament, we can suspect, that maybe the purpose was not to vote and serve as an electoral card in the extraordinary elections… they just created a law there, they didn’t expect it to be voted, we go to elections, we use it as political, party battles against other parties, in this case against the other parties. LVV and LDK’s, he declared.

He has recalled that the PDK had insisted the law should be adopted, warning consequences if this did not happen.

Mushkolaj has asked the PDK to clarify what has changed from October 6th, when the law was passed in the Assembly, to its later request for his return in review.

This is a law that the PDK told us should always be voted into, otherwise we don’t know what’s going to happen or something bad. This law was also voted by the PDK of LVV, and served as a shopping card for the president’s election. The PDK should tell us what has changed since October 6th, when the law was passed. None of them has made it clear. The PDK has stressed Mushkolaj.
