Kosovo Judiciary Council ( At today’s 373rd meeting, October 22, 2026, the KCK has made decisions on the appointment of six presiding judges to various branches of fundamental courts in the country, the Signal newspaper reports.

According to official KDR reports, the appointments include the branches of courts in Cline, Rahovec, Malisheva, Shtrpce, Skenderaj and Vushtrri.

Under these decisions, presiding judges have been appointed:

Blerta Kelmendi A presiding judge at the Foundation Court in Pec, Cline branch.

Avni Berisha He judged overseer at the Constitutional Court in Gjakova, the branch in Rahovec.

Neutie He judged supervisor at the Constitutional Court in Gjakova, the branch in Malisheva.

Faton Ajvazi He judged overseer at the Foundation Court in Ferizaj, the branch in Shtrpce.

Valon Hajdini He judges supervisor at the Foundation Court in Mitrovica, the branch in Skenderaj.Naim Recaliu He judged supervisor at the Foundation Court in Mitrovica, the branch in Vushtrri.

These appointments are part of decisions made during the next KDR meeting, the institution responsible for managing and overseeing the judicial system in Kosovo.

Overseer judges have responsibility for co-ordinating and maintaining work on the respective branches of the courts, along with the exercise of their judicial functions, in line with established competencies.

Decisions for their appointment have been made public through special reports of the Kosovo Judiciary Council.
