Kamberi: Posting out addresses made our third term impossible

The owner of the Albanian Coalition’s list in Serbia’s parliamentary elections, Shaip Kamberi, has declared that applying Albanian addresses has contributed to the loss of the opportunity to gain the third mandate.

In a direct link for RTK, just before the deployments closed, Kamberi has said the goal of Albanians is to secure the second term in Serbia’s parliament.

According to the seven o’clock preliminary data, 16 thousand and 600 citizens had voted in 37 Votings in Presevo, while at Albanian locations in Bujanoc 10 thousand and 853 voters.

Kamberi has estimated that the election process has generally gone smoothly, though at the start of the vote some minor irregularities have been recorded.

He has stressed that the possibility of securing the second term depends on the overall voter turnout.

If it goes to 70%, as it is speaking, then certainly more votes will be required. In case of a 6165% result, we are very likely to have the second seat, Camber announced.

Commenting on the progression of addresses, he has said citizens affected by this process have also left voter registers, affecting the outcome of Albanians.

This has brought us into a situation for us to lose the third mandate we’ve claimed, Camber said, naming this process part of systematic discrimination against Albanians in the Presevo Valley.

He has particularly mentioned Medvedja, where, according to him, the equipment of addresses has influenced the Albanian election results.

In the end, Kamberi has thanked citizens for mobilization and Albanians who have come from Kosovo to vote, praising that support from Albanian spaces has served as additional motivation during the final days of the campaign.
