Kosovo Judiciary Council ( The KCJ has decided on the appointment of Judge Lutf Shala to the position of Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina, the Signal newspaper reports.
The decision was made today, October 22, 2026, during the 373th meeting of the Kosovo Judiciary Council.
According to the KDR’s official announcement, Judge Lutf Shala has been appointed to the helm of one of the departments dealing with serious criminal cases, including subjects that are in the competence of the Special Prosecutor.
With that decision, Shala assumes responsibility for the leadership of the Special Department under the Constitutional Court in Pristina.
