An Albanian family in Germany is drawing the attention of German media, as three generations of it have joined the renovation of the Mülheimer Brücke Bridge in the town of Kiln.
It’s about the Cup family, where Grandpa Nazmi, 79, his son Kabil, 50, and his grandson Zeyad, 21, work on the same construction project.

By Tagesschau, Nazmi and Kabil work as construction carpenters, while Zajadin specialises in the construction of embroidered concrete structures. In addition to his work, he studies this field.
The family story in Germany began in 1968 when Nazmi Cupa arrived from Albania with a working visa, without specialised professional experience. Over the years, he gained experience in the builder, also valuing the help he received from German colleagues at his beginning.
Today, the Cup family shares not only the profession but also family life. All three generations live with their families under the same roof, while work at the shipyard remains divided by family relations, the Telegrafi broadcast.
Despite his age, Nazmi does not consider quitting. He says he will continue to work as long as his feet can.
The Kupa family story has been introduced by WDR and Tagesschau, bringing to attention an example of cooperation among three generations in an important infrastructure project in Germany./Telegraphy/
