An action by an anti-drug investigators in Prizren has turned into a dramatic chase, as a 23-year-old, moving on an electric motorcycle, has disobeyed the police’s command to stop. He’s taken the opposite direction of the drive, crashed on a motorcycle, and then tried to save the cops by running. But the escape ended in just a few meters, while suspected narcotic substances were found during the search.
Signal sources suggest that the event took place on October 20, 2026, at around 22:40, in Prizren’s Arbana district, where investigators from the Directorate for Narcotics Trafficking Investigation had signaled a ban on Edward Cuunyan about 23 years old.
According to information provided by the signal, the suspect has disobeyed the order and has continued moving by electric motorcycle on Krysmail Kryeziu Street, heading in the opposite direction to vehicle flow.
In an effort to cross the street, he has lost control and crashed by motorcycles.
But the crash didn’t stop him either.
The young man has risen and has continued to walk until investigators have managed to stop him and arrest him in a few yards.
During the search of his clothes, police have found suspected narcotics substances of cocaine and marijuana.
Since Chuna has complained of injury on the left side of the crash, he has been transported by ambulance for medical treatment.
After the treatment, by order of the State Attorney and the consent of the judge of the preliminary procedure, investigators have also searched his house on the streets of éAfrim Bytyqiı in Prizren.
From checks conducted at the scene and at the flat were seized:
- 0.46 grams of suspected cocaine substance, in a plastic bag;
- 5.72 grams of suspected marijuana strains of Calı in five plastic bags;
- Three bags of remains of suspected narcotic substances;
- 360 euros cash cash;
- A mobile phone?
- An electric motorcycle.
According to the initial police assessment, seized substances are worth about 90 euros in the illegal market.
The suspect was interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney appointed on official duty.
After completing the procedures, with the State Attorney’s decision, Edward Chuya has been detained for 48 hours.
The case has been initiated for criminal work ‘%Blerja, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotrope and analogue substances, while investigations are continuing by the drug unit in Prizren.
