Two Albanian citizens, aged 47 and 49, have been arrested by Cyril Cantonal Police after allegedly attempting to enter two houses in Horgen, Switzerland.
The event took place on Wednesday evening, October 28, 2026, in the Mühlebach neighbourhood, where Syrich Cantonal Police investigators noticed three men moving suspiciously into the area.
According to the police, after 7: 30 p.m., the three people initially tried to break into an isolated house, but after failing, they turned to another property.
It was during the attempt to enter the second property that the police managed to arrest one of them. His associate was also caught after a brief foot chase, while the third person, who allegedly had the role of observers, managed to quit and escape arrest.
The two detainees carried with them means of burglary, protective clothing, and radio communication.
Following the arrest, the two Albanians were sent to a police station for further procedures, while then handed over to the Public Prosecution.
