Michel Artetta’s Arsenal is preparing an offer of about 40m euros to Antonio Nusan, the 21-year-old Leipzigu attacker, on the eve of the transitional deadline of January 2027. However, the German club is willing to consider bids starting at around 60m euros.

The difference between these two figures is expected to be the starting point for possible negotiations. Arsenal has included Nusan on the list of options for the offensive department, but it will have to approach Leipzig’s demands to make the transfer feasible.

Arsenal had monitored Nusan’s situation earlier, while now preparing another movement for the passing January deadline. The initial amount being discussed is around 40m euros, according to reports TEAMtalk i n CaughtOffice.

However, this sum is still far from Leipzig’s request. The German club estimates a possible Norwegian transfer to about 60m euros — significantly higher than the offer Arsenal is preparing.

The economic difference also relates to the player’s contractual situation. Nusa has contracts with Leipzig by June 2029, so the German club does not need to sell it in the short term, nor does it reduce demands to facilitate a transfer.

The difference should be made between the player’s estimated value in the market and the price his club might require. Market estimates are lower than 60m euros, but Leipzig could set a higher price, given the player’s contract for several seasons as well.

Nusa’s presentations have also strengthened Leipzig’s position. Norvegezi has started the season with two goals and two assistings in four Bundesliga matches, directly contributing to four goals in the first weeks.

Last season, Nusa held 31 matches in Bundesligla, marking four goals and donating three assistations. /Telegraph/
