Conjufca: Djuric can’t talk about European future while meeting with Radojchi

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Glauk Konjufca has criticised Serbia’s Foreign Minister Marko Djuric for his joint meetings and photos with Milan Radojiciqi, whom he has described as the main responsibility for the attack on Banjska and person wanted by INTERPOL.

During his speech at the United Nations Organisation Security Council meeting, Konjufca has said Djuric’s attitude towards Radojici conflicts with his statements about Serbia’s European future.

When we talk about the future, the European future with which Minister Djuric is so obsessed. To give advice not to meet with Radichi. His pictures along with Radoichi don’t know what the conversations between them two contain. But he’s the person wanted by INTERPOL. And when we see the minister of candidate state seeking to integrate into the EU that meets with such criminals wanted by INTERPOL, I don’t know what European integration or what future we are talking about here, Conjufca has declared.

Konjufca has countered Djuriqi even in reference to several religious incidents in Kosovo, stressing that the country is characterized by interreligious diversity and harmony.

He has cited the election of President Justina Shiroka-Pula, who was referred to as president of Catholic faith, as an example of Kosovo’s multiethnic character.

Kosovo is a very ethnic state, religious harmony has been one of the most pronounced features of my people. How can we be an extremist state in a religious sense when we’ve recently elected a president who comes from Catholic religion, Conjufca said.

Furthermore, he has mentioned Meja Massacre, where, according to him, the majority of the victims were Albanians of Catholic faith, using this case to counter Serbia’s claims to protect Christianity.

Serbia is known for exploiting the church for ethnic division, fabricate incidents to preserve interethnic bad relations, it has done so even in the 1990s and continues to do so today, he has declared.

Speaking of war crimes in Kosovo, Konjufca has said that during 1999, a large number of Albanian civilians of Catholic faith were killed by Serb forces.

Our largest Massacre in 1999 was the Massia massacre, we called our Srebrenica because it is the greatest massacre of all. There 377 people were killed, most of them Catholic religious populations. That’s when we talk about how much Serbia protects Christianity in the world. This is the continuation of hybrid warfare by promoting false religious incidents, Conjufca said.
